Sunday 9th July 2017
With Performance at 7.30pm
The King’s School, Fence Avenue, Macclesfield, SK10 1LS
For adults and young people over 8 years
Here is your chance to sing songs from the hit musical Les Miserables. Come and join us for a full workshop day of singing, learning some of your favourite songs and gaining new skills – all of which will be leading to a performance in the evening which can be attended by family and friends.
During the course of the day, you will be working with a very experienced Production Team of Director and two of the most talented and experienced Musical Directors in the North West – Mike Richardson and Mike Bramhall.
At times during the day you will be working as a whole group, and at other times you will be splitting into smaller groups to work with the Musical Directors on different pieces of music, solos, duets and smaller group singing as appropriate. Everyone will then get together to run through all the music during the course of the day.
No auditions are necessary to take part and all abilities are welcome. However there are many opportunities for those taking part to sing solos and duets and to sing in smaller groups. Most of these will be allocated on the day, and if you would like to be considered for a solo or small group singing part, then please be sure to state so on the Enrolment Form and what type of voice you have (Soprano / Alto / Tenor / Bass).
We will also be holding an Audition evening on Tuesday 13th June for some solo songs. So if interested in attending, then please get in touch by calling 07780 685498 or emailing email@example.com.
TO TAKE PART: An Enrolment Form must be completed with details of participants; and in the case of Under 18’s, a Consent Form must also be completed and signed by a parent or guardian and sent with the Booking Form.
